The last remaining assets of now-defunct Network Technologies Group Inc. were sold at auction Aug. 27.
Interim CEO John M. Collard said the auction went better than expected. The company's assets are being liquidated in an attempt to repay more than $3.5 million in loans from Mercantile-Safe Deposit & Trust Co.
Collard laid off all 125 employees and shut the company down after uncovering alleged accounting irregularities at the Fells Point telecommunications firm.
Atlantic Auctions Inc. of Bell Air was handling the auction for NTG. Trucks, vans, trailers, drills and other construction equipment were among the items that were for sale.
